Virginia Happy Trails Running Club: A Historic and Thriving Grassroots Community
The Virginia Happy Trails Running Club was established in 1992 and has been promoting trail running in the Washington D.C. area.
The club was initially founded to put on a race and grew rapidly to meet the demand for more trail running events on the East Coast.
The Bull Run Run 50 Mile race, held annually since the club's inception, has become a staple event in the trail running community. [ more ]
